Saga Subsea adding assets to our Base Service segment in Haugesund.

New muscles have arrived at Killingøy Subsea & Offshorebase this week. Saga Subsea have invested in a new 22 Te forklift for heavy lifting, Mob/Demob purposes, to be stationed at our facilities at Killingøy and included as an asset in our Vessel Support and Base Service segment.

We believe that the investment will add further value to the Port in addition to our company. The Killingøybase is already a world known port infrastructure and subsea hub for NorthSea marine operations, where we now will be even more flexible with regards to the already existing activity. In addition, we are adding value to the needs that will come due to the energy transition where Killingøy will be more attractive also to support vessel activities within offshore wind operations and renewables.

Currently Saga are preparing equipment and personnel for a series of Mob/Demob jobs coming the next weeks where Killingøy once again proves it's value as one of the real power-ports for Norwegian offshore activity.
